LEADERSHIP & MINISTRY TEAM

Rev. Jeremiah Harris is an ordained Elder in the Mountain Sky Conference of the United Methodist Church. He is a bit of a rarity in these parts as he is a native Coloradan. Jeremiah is a proud Colorado State University alum, and holds a Masters of Divinity from Iliff School of Theology in Denver. Jeremiah’s passion for ministry comes out of a desire to help others live into to the fullness of God’s abundance. He particularly enjoys the relationships that formed through journeying with others in grace. He has served as associate pastor at First United Methodist, Loveland Colorado before joining the amazing team at Longs Peak United Methodist Church as lead pastor. Jeremiah has the unique distinction that He has attended LPUMC as a member of the congregation, prior to his seminary training. While in Loveland, Jeremiah also served as chaplain for the police department.
Jeremiah is married to his best friend and partner, Rev. Lee Anderson- Harris who is also clergy, and ordained a Deacon. Together the two enjoy hiking, camping, and traveling. Jeremiah is also an avid history buff, who loves touring and reading about civil war battlefields.

I am the Office Manager and Treasurer for Longs Peak UMC. I started in this position in March 2020 just as COVID shut things down. In this role, I am responsible for the business side of running the church. Some of the things I do include maintaining the member database, putting together the monthly newsletter, doing reports for the Conference, as well as taking care of the financial side of things. In my spare time, I love spending time in nature, hiking, reading and crocheting.
