LEADERSHIP & MINISTRY TEAM

Lead Pastor: Reverend Jeremiah Harris

Rev. Jeremiah Harris is an ordained Elder in the Mountain Sky Conference of the United Methodist Church. He is a bit of a rarity in these parts as he is a native Coloradan.  Jeremiah is a proud Colorado State University alum, and holds a Masters of Divinity from Iliff School of Theology in Denver.  Jeremiah’s passion for ministry comes out of a desire to help others live into to the fullness of God’s abundance.  He particularly enjoys the relationships that formed through journeying with others in grace.  He has served as associate pastor at First United Methodist, Loveland Colorado before joining the amazing team at Longs Peak United Methodist Church as lead pastor.  Jeremiah has the unique distinction that He has attended LPUMC as a member of the congregation, prior to his seminary training.  While in Loveland, Jeremiah also served as chaplain for the police department.

Jeremiah is married to his best friend and partner, Rev. Lee Anderson- Harris who is also clergy, and ordained a Deacon.  Together the two enjoy hiking, camping, and traveling.  Jeremiah is also an avid history buff, who loves touring and reading about civil war battlefields.

Spread Love, in all the ways you can! I have had the pleasure  to help create this ever evolving role at Longs Peak UMC since 2019. Connecting with people and helping them find joy is my passion. I studied at the University of Minnesota for my Bachelors in Dance . I have found myself in many different leadership roles, director of a children’s fitness center, state regional manager of a group fitness club along the front range, and even a operational manager. With these experiences, I have always found my way back to teaching all ages and creating outreach opportunities for others. My husband and two children have  been my driving force to keep looking for more ways to keep families connected in faith.  When I am not at Longs Peak I am still an active Group Fitness Instructor along the front range and love adventuring the outdoors with my family!

Office Manager: Alex Anderson

I am the Office Manager and Treasurer for Longs Peak UMC. I started in this position in March 2020 just as COVID shut things down. In this role, I am responsible for the business side of running the church. Some of the things I do include maintaining the member database, putting together the monthly newsletter, doing reports for the Conference, as well as taking care of the financial side of things. In my spare time, I love spending time in nature, hiking, reading and crocheting.
